Yesler Terrace had 3 festive neighborly block parties this summer including ice cream trucks, pizza, potluck, music, dancing and art. DK Pan and I led art activities including open clay sculpting of hands or whatever, and open painting of Yesler terrace salvage rubble. Amidst the ice cream and food, it was a great way to get to know people, have conversations over art making, and enjoy the freedom and right braininess of art making. (Images courtesy of DK Pan)
